from the email address on the account, with the subject
Esqui account deletion request.
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
Account deletion removes your sign-in (auth user) and your profile. Related server data then
follows database cascade rules:
-
Athletes: your equipment (skis, boots, poles), wax sessions, diary entries,
race results, FIS import rows, notifications, and technician/coach link relationships for your
account are deleted. Linked staff keep their own accounts.
-
Technicians / coaches: your account, profile, trips you manage (and bags on
those trips), invitations you sent, notifications, and link relationships involving you are
deleted. Athletes you worked with keep their own accounts and athlete-owned data.
- There is no user file Storage bucket in Esqui; account deletion does not involve media files.
What is kept, and for how long
-
Records you created on another user’s athlete account (for example wax sessions, equipment,
diary entries, races, or trip bags) stay with that athlete. Your name is removed from them,
but the records themselves are not deleted.
-
Trip bags assigned to a deleted athlete that still belong to a staff-managed trip
may remain on that trip with the athlete assignment cleared.
-
Hosting backups: our database host may retain normal operational backups for a
limited time. We do not define a longer app-level retention period beyond that.
Deleting individual records without closing your account
You can delete individual skis, boots, poles, wax sessions, diary entries, races, and bags
inside the app without deleting your account. Staff delete visibility for athlete-owned rows
follows creator rules in the app; athletes can delete records on their own account.
